a piece i am quite thrilled with. i love the viewpoint, the laziness of his limbs and body, and his drawn back head, like he's not comforted by what he sees in the sky. with that mindset, i almost titled it "release the bats."

i was inspired by bellz, who was a piece similar to this of himself lying in the grass, and my mood at the time.

the one we see here is getty, my [emo] halloween gelert. he's without his glasses and eyeliner and his shirt's gently pulled up at the end, all symbolizing something i can't get across in words. like the feeling you have when you've written your deepest, darkest emotions on your heart, and now it's been ripped out, showing the whole world, and there's nothing you can do to stop it. it's a sad, quiet feeling, yet violent and sharp all at the same time.
